2012-2013 Tuition and Fees

Three-Year Old Program

  • Curriculum Fee $ 150.00
  • Tuition: Half Day 3 Day/Week $ 2,000.00

Transitional Kindergarten (4/5 year old)

  • Curriculum Fee $ 250.00
  • Tuition: Full Day 5 Day/Week $ 4,500.00
  • Tuition: Half Day 5 Day/Week $ 2,700.00

Kindergarten (5 year old)

  • Curriculum Fee $ 250.00
  • Tuition: Full Day 5 Day/Week $ 4,800.00

First Grade - Second Grade

Tuition and Fees: Policies and Procedures

Annual Tuition:

Tuition is calculated on the basis of the entire year, therefore no reduction can be made for vacations or school holidays. Tuition is not based upon daily attendance. The Academy is a private non-profit organization supported entirely by Student Tuition and Donations.

Enrollment Deposit:

$500.00 Deposit is due with the Student Application.

The Enrollment Deposit is non-refundable after 15 days of acceptance for enrollment.

Curriculum Fees:

Includes consumable curriculum, annual updates to non-consumable curriculum, certain classroom teaching supplies, benchmark and end of grade/end of course testing and scoring, music and art supplies and student yearbook. If a student withdraws prior to the end of the academic year, he/she will forfeit any consumable curriculum, and will be asked to return all other school property and curriculum.

Curriculum Fees are non-refundable after July 1.

Referral Discount:

We encourage existing families to refer new students to The Academy. Upon application and acceptance for enrollment, the referring family will receive a$250.00 Referral Discount applied to their account.

Multi-Child Discount:

Multi-child discount is available to families with multiple siblings enrolled at The Academy.

Active Military Discount:

10% discount on tuition only if either custodial parent is on active military duty.

Late Enrollment Fee:

There will be a $125.00 Late Enrollment Fee added to any student(s) enrolling after June 1. The fee is due along with the Student Application and $500.00 Enrollment Deposit. This fee is non-refundable. Tuition will be pro-rated on a nine-month schedule. Curriculum fees are not pro-rated for late enrollment.

Early Withdrawal: 

If a student withdraws after the first day of classes, the annual tuition (less $500.00 deposit and curriculum fee) will be pro-rated and refunded based on the following schedule: All unpaid tuition and fees will be due on the date of student withdrawal. Student records will not be released until all tuition and fees are paid in full.

            Withdrawal Date is before October 31:                                              75% Tuition Refunded
            Withdrawal Date is after October 31, before December 31:          50% Tuition Refunded
            Withdrawal Date is after December 31, before March 1:               25% Tuition Refunded
            Withdrawal Date is after March 1:                                                         0 Tuition Refunded
  There will be a $50.00 withdrawal fee applied to cover administration and transfer of records.

Delinquent Tuition Payments:

It shall be the responsibility of each school family to keep the school administrator informed of their need to make any changes in their preferred tuition payment plan or adjustments in the amount of tuition expected to be paid. Without such information, the following policy will apply when tuition payments are delinquent: There will be a $25.00 per month late fee on all delinquent accounts.  The Academy has the right to turn delinquent accounts over for collection. The Academy has the right to withhold testing, report cards and/or student records until all delinquent tuition is paid in full. The Academy has the right to refuse admittance or re-admittance based on failure to pay or late tuition payments.

Program Changes:

The Academy reserves the right to change, delete or combine any of the programs offered at any time during the academic year due to space and enrollment minimums and limitations. Parents will be notified in writing of any and all changes.
